About this diorama: This scene is comprised of different layers and stand alone pieces, almost like a theatre design. The row of trees for example, stand separately to one another, to the animals and to all the other components. The pieces are upon 2 white cuboid plinths which come with the piece ensuring you can set it up exactly as pictured if desired. However you would still be able to move the animals etc around if you wished to.
Measurements: 40cm height x 28cm deep x 27cm wide.
Materials: Porcelain, gold lustre, gold plated copper wire, 2 x white painted wooden cuboid plinths.
Delivery: These dioramas are intricate pieces to pack carefully. Please allow 2–3 weeks for delivery, depending on your location. If you would like your piece sooner, you can contact me via the contact form to discuss priority delivery.
Set up: You will be sent a video or series of images showing you how to set up your diorama via email. As this piece is particularly intricate, you are welcome to enquire about me travelling to set it up in person here or email marie@mariecanning.co.uk
Care: You may wish to give your diorama a gentle blow regularly to remove any dust that settles. For heavier dust, a damp cloth can be used carefully. You are also welcome to pre-order a display case for your diorama to reduce dusting here. Please note that the gold-plated copper wire will naturally darken over time as it oxidises – this is a sign that your piece has truly settled into its new home!
