Piglet and Calf reach a winding staircase, where a doorway opens onto the night sky, framed by thick layers of leaves. As they climb the stone steps that spiral around the ivy covered tree, they quietly pass sleeping Fox and Owl. Above them, a shooting star sails across the sky, and the stars twinkle in response.

Description

About this Diorama: This scene is composed of different layers and standalone pieces, almost like a miniature theatre set. For example, the back panel of trees stands independently from the main tree. The figures of Piglet, Calf, and Fox are also movable, as are the scattered acorns and leaves on the ground. This allows you to adjust the arrangement and carefully move the characters and details to your liking.

Measurements: 27cm height x 20cm deep x 21cm wide.

Materials: Porcelain, gold lustre, gold plated copper wire.

Delivery: These dioramas are intricate pieces to pack carefully. Please allow 2–3 weeks for delivery, depending on your location. If you would like your piece sooner, you can contact me via the contact form to discuss priority delivery.

Set up: You will be sent a video or series of images showing you how to set up your diorama via email.

Care: You may wish to give your diorama a gentle blow regularly to remove any dust that settles. For heavier dust, a damp cloth can be used carefully. You are also welcome to pre-order a display case for your diorama to reduce dusting here. Please note that the gold-plated copper wire will naturally darken over time as it oxidises – this is a sign that your piece has truly settled into its new home!
